
Dr. Bydalek (Dr.B) opened his general dental practice on August 13, 1990, in Horsham, Pennsylvania (USA). Since then it has grown to be a staple in the community of Eastern Montgomery County, serving the dental needs of Horsham and her surrounding areas. The practice has grown from one treatment room, to the current 4 chair treatment rooms.
The philosophy of the practice is dedication to both the patients and the profession of dentistry. You cannot have one without the other, they are synergestically connected. Dr. B graduated fromTemple University School of Dentistry (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), in May of 1989, with a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree . Following dental school, he was accepted into the General Practice Dental Residency program at Muhlenberg Hospital Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of the GPR, he opened his solo dental practice.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American College of Dentists (ACD). He has been on staff as an Associate Dental Surgeon of Abington Hospital (Abington, Pennsylvania). In the summer of 1996, at the AGD's annual meeting in Portland, Oregon, Dr. B received the FAGD award from the Academy of General Dentistry. FAGD stands for Fellow in the Academy. In 2007, while attending the American College of Dentist meeting in San Francisco, Dr. B was honored to be inducted into the ACD, which is the oldest honorary dental organization, founded in 1920.
Dr. B continues to participate with the Pennsylvania constituent of the AGD (PAGD); His most recent national position was Chair of the AGD's Technology and Web Use Council. He has served as Regional Director for Region 3, which is Pennsylvania, and placed the PAGD on the internet in 1998, being it's first webmaster. He also has served on the PAGD Board of Directors, was Membership Chairperson for 2 years, Treasurer for 3 years, and Secretary for 5 years. At the national AGD he has been on the Internet Council, served on the Communications Council and chaired the Communications Council from 2005-2007.
He is an avid recreational community head coach for sports (basketball, flag football, soccer) and supports charitable activities (school and community) throughout the surrounding areas.
Dr. Bydalek's father is a retired Air Force dentist and has a brother (Mark) practicing dentistry in Sergeantsville, New Jersey (609.397.8833). |
