1996:

In the summer of 1996, Dr. Bydalek received the FAGD award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), at the AGD's annual meeting in Portland,Oregon. FAGD stands for Fellow.















This signifies that he has been a member of the AGD for 5 consecutive years, passed the fellowship exam, and attended over 500 hours of continuing dental education courses. The designation of FAGD does not signify a specialty in the dental profession, but a commitment to the profession and the people the dentist cares for.

The AGD has over 33,000 dental members, of which roughly, 11,000 are Fellows. The creed of the Academy is to serve the needs and to represent the interests of general dentists and to foster their continued proficiency through quality continuing dental education in order to better serve the public.

Dr. Bydalek is currently striving to achieve his Mastership status in the AGD.

2007:

In the late summer of 2007,  while in San Francisco, Dr. Bydalek was inducted in the American College of Dentists.




















The American College of Dentists (ACD) is the oldest national honorary organization for dentists. Its members have exemplified excellence through outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions to dentistry and society. In response to serious problems facing the profession, the American College of Dentists was found August 20, 1920 to elevate the standards of dentistry, to encourage graduate study, and to grant Fellowship to those who have done meritorious work. The ACD is a non-profit and apolitical, and has lolng been regarded as the "conscience of dentistry"

The mission of the ACD is to advance excellence, ethics, professionalism, and leadership in dentistry. The College has played a vital role in positively shaping the profession.
